Kapetani Džek Sperou(Johnny Depp) i Barbosa(Rush) kreću u potragu za čuvenom fontanom mladosti ali saznaju da su se Crnobradi i njegova ćerka takođe uputili po nju. Džek Sperou ukršta staze sa ženom iz svoje prošlosti(Penelope Cruz) ali neće biti siguran da li je u pitanju ljubav ili samo nova smicalica iskusne prevarantkinje koja će ga iskoristiti da dođe do fontane mladosti. Kad ga ona natera da se ukrca na Osvetu Kraljice Ane, brod okrutnog pirata Crnobradog(McShane) Džek će se naći u neverovatnoj avanturi u kojoj neće znati ko ga više plaši: Crnobradi ili žena njegove prošlosti.<br />
