Notes
Egy bájos csirkefogó élettörténete, kevés dialógussal, kivéve a sztár/rendező szellemes elbeszélését. Gyerekként csak ő él túl egy családi tragédiát, amikor megfosztják a vacsorától (mérgező gombák!) lopásért… tanulság, a becstelenség kifizetődő. Éveken keresztül, miközben bűnbe és szórakoztató kalandokba fog bele, két nő jelenik meg újra és újra az életében, egy kápráztató szőke ékszertolvaj és egy kábító barna szerencsejátékos. Végül találkozik a titkozatos Charbonnier-vel, aki megmentette az életét az I. Világháborúban, és aki karrierje meglepő következő fázisába vezeti… <br />
