Hi all,,,,

I have been using podnapisi for a long time , and now one of my favourite functions have been removed., and i was just
wondering why, and if it would not be possible to get it back...

When you make a search for subtitles in episodes in any language, in my case allways english or danish., you get a list of subs from the series your searching for., but before i was able to download the subtitle directly without having to go and read info about the sub... there was this button on the left side of the subs results where i could download...

But now the button has been removed, and i have to click the sub itself and go into the info page for the sub, and download it from there,...

This is a very annoying thing when you need to download subs for alot of episodes, because it takes A LOT more time..
sometimes im getting 5-24 subs at the time for different series , and there it is REALLY annoying...

I cant see how come this little download button makes any difference for the site it self, but it makes alot for the user,,,

Hope to get some responds from both users on the subject , and from admins on why this has been removed , and if it would be possible to get this function back...

PODNAPISI RULES.... BEST SUBTITLE SITE EVER ON THE INTERNET...

Thanks alot for a great site...

We are aware of problem when people try to download subtitle for whole season, or even more. We will try to find a way to make multiple subtitle downloading easier, especially when downloading TV series subtitles.

Download button was removed, because since its appearance, number of comments went downhill. At same point, people almost stopped rating subtitles. These two features are essential to find the best version of subtitles, when there's more than one subtitle available. When subtitle quality is catastrophicly bad, comments and grades can inform editors about poor subtitle quality and they can replace the bad version with corrected one (if it exists).

Sorry for late reply, I missed it the first time.

Best regards,

Thanks for the reply,,,

And yes , ratings and comments must be upholded, without those 2 essential features , most sub sites will be useless...

Im looking forward to what you guys will find out with multiple downloading :-)

I don't understand, in both cases user must first come back and find the subtitle that was bad to rate/comment, so it doesn't make any difference with or without the download button. And my strategy for choosing the one to download is by looking at how many times the subtitle was downloaded, the one that's good usually has many times more downloads. Also, if I get a bad one, I always come back to find it and rate it, since I close the tab the second I download it
