Resnična zgodba o legendi. Film prikazuje življenje Jerryja Lee Lewisa v času od 1956 do 1959, ko je dosegel svojo največjo slavo.<br />

Jerry se je takrat že tretjič poročil z ženo, s katero je bil v daljnem sorodstvu, poleg tega pa je imela le trinajst let. Ta škandal je ogrozil njegovo kariero, zaradi poroke pa je moral odpovedati tudi svojo turnejo po Angliji.<br />
