Beka i Haui Korbet bili su srećan bračni par čiji se savršen svet zauvek promenio kada je njihov sinčić Deni poginuo u saobraćajnoj nesreći. Beka pokušava da redefiniše svrhu svog postojanja u nadrealnom okruženju porodice i prijatelja. Bolna, gorka, ali često i smešna iskustva vode Beku ka pronalaženju utehe u misterioznoj vezi s mladim crtačem stripova Džejsonom, tinejdžerom koji je vozio auto kada je njen sin nastradao. Opsednutost Džejsonom odvlači je od sećanja na Denija, dok Haui traži pribežiše u strancima koji mu nude ono što Beka ne može da mu pruži. Korbetovi, oboje bez cilja, prave iznenađujuće i opasne korake tražeći put koji će odrediti njihove sudbine.
