V sodobnem času živijo mirno in nevznemirljivo v tihem obmorskem mestu East End. Ko se ena od hčera zaplete z bogatim prišlekom, sledi vrsta dogodkov, zaradi katerih mora mama hčerkama priznati, da so v resnici močne in nesmrtne čarovnice.<br />
