Finally Andy digs up some aging vaudeville entertainers from a retirement home who are glad to go back with the aliens and entertainment them they way they enjoy.

He again becomes well known for his card tricks. One night, however, he gets angry and accidently rips one of the magic cards. He decides to retire. His final act is simply thanking his audience. As he leaves, however, he uses the cards to perform one last trick. The cards fly in the air and spell out "Good Bye".

Later he sees Vanessa again in a different pose. He remembers the he has kept is a another painting of her in that pose. He decides to paint a picture of Vanessa again, but this time he adds himself. When Vanessa appears, she and Byron are able to talk. Byron begins to paint other pictures. He has find out a way for his wife to live.

Malloy keeps getting back up for another drink. Eventually they take Malloy to a bridge and throw him off. A police man sees them and they are all arrested. Later, at the bar Malloy arrives asking for another drink.

Calvin returns in a tow truck. On a tow cable, he sends down a container filled with flashlights. When he pulls it up, he discovers they have been destroyed. Calvin is upset and decides to go down into the hole. He gets a gun and puts on a gas mask and army suit. He lowers himself down and tells Nora to bring him up after 10 minutes. Nora brings him up but all that comes up is the suit, stuffed with gold and jewelry and coins. There is also a note thanking her for the 'turkey'.

When he does, the alien is disturbed by the poor reaction his interplanetary contestants get. Everyone finds them disgusting. He threatens to destroy the Earth if one of his contestants does not win. The promoter agrees but figures a way out. He says that the winner will get a date with Mr. Universe. The aliens, disgusted by the human form, agree to bow out of the pageant.
